Fun homeschool resource ‘Elephant Learning Math Academy’ Review

January 28, 2020 preschoolwmama No Comments

Homeschooling can be challenging sometimes but parents understand the need for professional tools to help their children learn, and any good tool should reduce the time and effort required to accomplish the goal.

For a parent it can be very frustrating when their child struggles with a subject but trust me, it’s even more frustrating for the child. Jay and Zay love math and are naturally really good at it but lately, they’ve been struggling with word problems. Still, math can be a lot of fun and Elephant Learning Math Academy has been an excellent addition to our homeschool math curriculum.

Finding fun math games, activities, and recourses for Jay and Zay hasn’t been an easy task because different children learn in different ways but we recently discovered Elephant Learningan online math academy that covers counting, fractions, decimals, and algebra for students from ages 2-16.

img_0010Elephant Learning Math Academy guarantees that your student will learn at least 1 year of math in three months when using the program 30 minutes per week. The program uses appealing graphics and games to make learning fun, so fun that the boys ask to use the program every day. Children select the graphic theme that appeals to them the most (such as spaceships, animals, unicorns, trains, sports, etc) and complete various math activities that use that selected theme.

After enrollment, Elephant Learning begins by evaluating your student’s math level, identifying struggle areas, and then focuses on helping the student advance by providing level and age-appropriate activities. The student is assigned an ‘Elephant Age’ that is compared to their actual age based on their evaluation. As the student progresses through the program, the ‘Elephant Age’ adjusts accordingly based on what they have learned.

Parents, are you ready for this? Parents are provided with real-time reports that let them know exactly what their children are working on and how they’re doing.

The online math academy is $35 a month for up to three students, there is no registration fee, and they have merit-scholarships available to help families with tuition costs.
