Have you noticed that subscription boxes are a thing nowadays? You can subscribe to everything from cooking boxes to crafts for kids. The boys and I absolutely love subscription boxes! You know why? BECAUSE THEY’RE AWESOME! It’s like Christmas every time a new box gets delivered.

A few weeks ago Zay received a fun gift from Circle Time 2.0, a subscription box service for kids made up of themed activities for preschoolers and kindergarteners.

Circle time 2.0 was started by Mikel, a recent college graduate who is passionate about Early Childhood Education and Science. His purpose was to include activities to complete at home that mirrors learning objectives found in the classroom.

From time to time homeschooling days can feel long and boring and subscription boxes have been a great way to supplement our homeschool curriculum because kids love different! They love unplanned!

When you subscribe to Circle Time 2.0’s monthly subscription program (shipping is free, yay) you’ll receive a themed curated box once a month, and every month you’ll receive a new box with a new theme. You can also choose if you need your box for 1 or 2 children. January’s box set the expectations high with this fun, bold, and exciting theme! As you probably guessed already, this month’s theme was ice cream, we received the ‘Ice Cream Forever’ box! Zay had so much fun finding the subscription box on the doorstep, opening it, and exploring e v e r y t h i n g inside.

img_e2762Saving time and money is important when you homeschool and subscription boxes usually come right to your door with everything you need for activities and projects (with the occasional inexpensive material you may need to purchase). Since they send you pretty much everything, you and your children don’t have to run around town trying to find and buy all the materials. You just open the box, set it all out, and get to work. Your kids get fun activities and projects, and there’s no prep time for mama.

I was very impressed with everything that came inside Circle Time 2.0 and how easy it is to put it all to use! All the learning resources come laminated, meaning we can use them over and over again and parents, we get a flow chart to better understand how to use everything in the box.

Kid’s educational subscription boxes encourage or support a child’s interests and add excitement to learning. Recognizing months, days of the week, observing the weather, and adding and subtracting is much more fun when it includes ice cream themed! I mean, who doesn’t love ice cream?!

Each box includes:

  • Editable Calendar
  • Laminated Days of the Week + Months of the Year Chart
  • Laminated Weather + Clothing Chart
  • 1 Storybook
  • 1 Activity book
  • Circle Flow chart for parents
  • Sight Word Activity
  • Math Activity
  • Hands-on activities (Arts and crafts, pretend play, and imaginative play)Want to add some fun to your child’s learning? Circle time 2.0 makes a great gift – literally a gift that keeps on giving.
